2016 NJ TSA Fall Contest
Pin Design Challenge
The Challenge:
Design the official NJ TSA pin for use at the 2017 National Conference in Orlando, Florida. The design that is selected will be mass-produced and available for trading by our NJ TSA student members.
Requirements:
- Pin design must be submitted as a digital JPG file or PDF and must be able to be printed on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.
- Design must be computer-generated.
- Design may range from ¾” to 2” (length and width). (The pin can be any shape, but must fit within this size range.)
- Design must have the official TSA logo letters on the pin.
- Fewer letters and greater size is recommended for a more legible pin.
- Design must reflect New Jersey in some manner (e.g. shape and/or name of New Jersey).
- Design must include 2017 (the year of the National Conference).
- Submit design with a description/justification (Word Document or PDF) of final design, not exceeding one page.
- Design must be original work. All ideas, text, or images from sources other than the designer must be cited (copyrighted or not). Cited works should be in MLA format and appear on one page following the one page description/justification of the design.
Evaluation:

Winner:
- One winner will be selected and announced at the Leadership Conference and on Twitter on November 22nd. A prize will be awarded.
Deadline and Submission:
- November 14, 2016 by 12:00 PM
- One entry PER CHAPTER (we encourage each chapter to hold a school-wide contest to select the entry chosen for submission)
