Address from the NJ TSA State President

Address from the NJ TSA State President

Greetings New Jersey TSA!

I hope everyone is doing well after returning to the fully in-person format at school following all the madness from the last year and a half. This year the state officer team has planned some awesome activities such as, but not limited to, more monthly challenges which cover numerous interests, a stronger state to chapter communication system, and more!

We can hopefully all be together soon if we all play our part in protecting ourselves from Covid-19: mask up, get vaccinated, if eligible, and wash those hands!

Last year was a difficult year under the fully virtual format, and although there were some challenges, we persevered through them and still made the TSA experience as enjoyable as possible. As one NJ TSA, we can continue to be the innovative leaders of the future, one member at a time!

This year, the state officer team and myself hope that you, as well as those close to you, participate in our design challenges to not only stimulate your inner TSA experience, but also to have the opportunity for your entry to be recognized on the state level. Fundraising is an issue that many chapters are currently facing, especially from being virtual last year. Some successful ways to fundraise include hosting events at restaurants, bake sales, teacher pie in the face, and so much more!

Lastly, I would like to personally thank the 2021-2022 New Jersey State Officer Team, TSA chapter advisors, officers, and, of course, our phenomenal members for their outstanding dedication to our delegation.

I wish you all the best of success in your future endeavors and happy holidays!

Sincerely,
Sahil Maher
New Jersey TSA State President 2021 – 2022

CTE Month 2019

Hello NJ TSA! As February is CTE (Career and Technical Education) Month, I decided to write this month’s blog post on how TSA has helped to shape my future career. In middle school, as a shy 6th grader, I had no intentions of joining any clubs. However, after a great deal of convincing, my older brother… Continue Reading
