TSA has been played a pivotal role in my life, and I am thankful to be able to continue my journey with such a phenomenal association with an incredible membership. Outside of TSA, I am enrolled in my high school’s Law and Public Service Learning Center. In my spare time, I am an active member in my school’s drama club, Junior Statesman Alliance, forensics club, and Red Cross Club. I also love to perform in community theater. I am certain that, together, we can “inspire a shared vision” for another successful year in TSA.

Khushi Sabuwala

Hi New Jersey TSA! My name is Khushi Sabuwala and I am your 2019-2020 State Secretary. I am currently a junior at High Technology High School and this is my sixth year in TSA. Since 6th grade I have attended the state conference every year and three national conferences. I have competed and placed in a multitude of events at both levels. Some of my favorite events include Chapter Team, Dragster, and Animatronics. I have also participated in my chapter’s TEAMS team and am a member of TSA’s Technology Honor Society. In my previous years of being a part of TSA, I have served as NJ TSA’s Sergeant-at-Arms in addition to my chapter’s President and Parliamentarian. Outside of TSA, I have pursued Indian classical dancing for over 10 years and have begun teaching last year. In addition to this I enjoy playing the trumpet and this is my second year as my school’s jazz band director. Additionally, in my free time, I enjoy watching football. TSA has greatly impacted my life and contributed in shaping my goals for the future. Going into TSA, I had no idea that this organization would foster not only an interest in pursuing a field in STEM as a career, but also develop crucial leadership and communication skills. I am looking forward to another rewarding year in TSA and hope that I can make it a great one for all of us!
