Mark Catugas
NJ TSA State Secretary
Greetings NJ TSA. My name is Mark Catugas and I am a senior from Clearview Regional High school, currently your NJ State Secretary. Outside of school and the dreaded AP classes, I love to be a free, fearless and adventurous spirit. If I’m not studying at the library, I enjoy hanging out with my friends who participate in a variety of sports (e.g. paintball – my favorite) and video games. One of my favorite past times must include staying awake at 2am with friends on Xbox Live. In addition, I enjoy participating in a variety of Clearview activities other than TSA. Musically, I love playing Bari Saxophone for Clearview’s Wind Ensemble and Alto Saxophone for Clearview’s Marching Band. With association to clubs, helping my friends create the very first “Asian Culture Club” in Clearview still remains an interesting experience.
Jakub Frankowicz
NJ TSA State Treasurer
Hello, my name is Jakub Frankowicz, your State TSA Treasurer. I am currently a senior at Howell High School. I have been involved in TSA since 7th grade. During my 6 years in TSA I have held chapter offices, competed and placed at states, as well as competed and voted at nationals, being a finalist once. Now as your State TSA Treasurer, I plan to help NJ TSA develop into the best state organization in the nation. When I’m not working hard with TSA or school, I like to play tennis, soccer, ultimate frisbee, and ride bikes. I am also a big board games enthusiast, my favorites being Stratego and Scramble. I love to watch Jeopardy and any sports that are on. I am a huge Devils, Yankees, and Red Bulls fan.
Stefania Gonzalez
NJ TSA State Reporter
Hello New Jersey TSA. I am Stefania Gonzalez your NJ state TSA reporter. I am a Senior at Howell High School and this is my fourth year involved in TSA. I have held the offices of Secretary and Vice President at the chapter level. During competitive events, I have placed first at states twice for Future Technology Teacher and Career Comparison. On the national level, I have also placed twice earning 3rd and 7th place for Future Technology Teacher. TSA has assisted in the decision to pursue a career in Technology Education and has afforded me the opportunity to acquire leadership skills and the ability to work in a team to accomplish a goal. I am greatly looking forward to this upcoming year and am sure it will be a great one for our state TSA.
