2013-2014 State Officers

2013-2014 Officer Team

President: Sreela Kodali

Greetings NJ TSA! My name is Sreela Kodali, and it is my honor and privilege to serve as your TSA State President. I am a senior at High Technology High School, and this is my fourth year in TSA. I compete in the Engineering Design competition and was an Engineering Design finalist at nationals. TSA has taught me so much, and I can’t wait to share my experiences and love for technology with all of you. In addition to TSA, I am an Indian classical dancer, the president of my school’s student government, and the vice-president of my school robotics club. I served as your State Secretary last year and am excited for another successful year. As president, I will do everything I can to contribute to our chapter and support technology in NJ. I am looking forward to serving our organization and meeting everyone at this year’s state conference!

Vice President: Anthony Graybush

Hey NJ TSA! My name is Anthony Graybush and I am your 2013-2014 State Vice-President. I am currently a senior at Freehold Township High School, this is my seventh year in TSA, and my fifth year serving as a NJ-TSA State Officer. I’ve attended TSA Nationals five times, but have yet to be a finalist in any competitions there. When I’m not in TSA, I can be found playing video games, DJing at parties, or out in the park freerunning with my friends. I’m looking forward to working with everybody again this year, and together, I hope that we can make this year another great year for NJ TSA!

Secretary: Claudia Jiang

Hello New Jersey TSA! My name is Claudia Jiang, your TSA State Secretary. I am currently a junior at High Technology High School. I have been a part of TSA since my freshman year, first competing in Desktop Publishing and then in Animatronics. Outside of TSA, I often volunteer my time tutoring and taking care of little kids. I play soccer for Marlboro High School and in my free time, I love to run. Technology has become a big part of my life both in and outside of school, and I have gained much experience from being a TSA member. TSA has helped strengthened my interest in science and engineering, and I have lots of fun participating in events. I am looking forward to working with everyone for a great year for NJ TSA.

Treasurer:  Leor Golan

Hello New Jersey TSA! I’m Leor Golan, your NJ TSA Treasurer. I am currently a junior at the Marine Academy of Science and Technology. I have been a part of TSA ever since my freshmen year of high school and I love every minute of it. I am very excited to be more closely involved with the organization as a state officer this year. Outside of TSA, I am involved in several clubs, including Spanish Club, Key Club, and the school newspaper. I also participate in my school’s orienteering club and the New Jersey science league. I love swimming for both my club team and Ocean Township High School’s varsity team. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering, rock climbing, and mountain biking. I look forward to working with the other officers and seeing everyone at the state conference in 2014.

Sergeant-at-Arms: Paul Iannelli

Greetings and salutations fellow members of the Technology Student Association.  My name is Paul Iannelli and I am a senior at Freehold Township High School and I am proud to be your 2013-2014 State Sergeant At Arms.  I have been in TSA since the 7th grade and I have loved it since day one.  Being able to work on projects based off of my hobbies and interests is something I truly love to do.  My favorite events to compete in are On Demand Video Production and Digital Video Production because I get the opportunity to work on interesting topics as well a chance to express my creativity.  Outside of TSA I enjoy playing the drums in my schools marching and concert band.  I am excited for a great and successful year of TSA!

Reporter: Annemarie Brecht

Hello! My Name is Annamarie Brecht and I am your NJ TSA Reporter this year. I am a senior at Clearview Regional High School and have been involved with TSA since I was a sophomore. I have learned so much from it and made some of my best friends from working on projects. I can’t imagine my high school years without this club and am so thankful to have found it. Outside of TSA, I am a competitive figure skater representing the Hollydell Figure Skating Club. I am always very busy but I love challenging myself and finding out all the things that I can accomplish. This year, I look forward to working with all the officers and I hope to make everyone’s 2014 TSA experience one that they will never forget!

Historian: Deanna Vecchio

Hi NJ TSA! I’m Deanna Vecchio, currently a senior at Clearview Regional High School. I joined TSA in my sophomore year and I have been captivated ever since. I love being a part of TSA because it gives me the opportunity to challenge myself to create new solutions and work together with my peers. Outside of school and TSA, I love to cook with my family, draw, catch up with friends, and attend hockey games. I am hardworking and outgoing, so I will surely be open to talk with anyone and help with anything I can. I am eager to make many more friendships as an officer and I look forward to another great year with NJ TSA!

Parliamentarian: James Gliem

Hello New Jersey TSA! I’m James Gliem, your NJ TSA Parliamentarian. I am a senior at Howell High School. This is my fourth year in TSA, but my first year as a State Officer. I’ve been to TSA Nationals twice, but haven’t placed in any events. My favorite event to do is Animatronics, this has to be because it was my first major TSA event and the event the sent me to Nationals for the first time. Aside from TSA, I like building computers and paintballing. I can’t wait for another awesome year of TSA!
