Updates and Clarifications for NJ State Conference
NJ ONLY
High School
Eligibility has been expanded for the team events listed below to align with National TSA guidelines. (Note–National TSA guidelines state that the max number of students per team is six.)
Changes will be:
- Animatronics – 2 teams of 3 Change to 2 teams per chapter
- Biotechnology Design – 1 team of 2-5 Change to 1 team per chapter
- Digital Video – 1 team of up to 5 Change to 1 team per chapter
- Manufacturing Prototype – 2 teams of 2-5 Change to 2 teams per chapter
- SciVis – 1 team of 2-5 Change to 1 team per chapter
- Video Game Design – 1 team of 2-5 Change to 1 team per chapter
- Computer-Aided Design (CAD) 3D, Engineering The fourth sentence under “Design Brief” should read, “The center should include a charger, tester and designated spaces for fully charged batteries and for those that need to be recharged.”
Middle School

Students may use Hurricane Sandy Relief OR the American Cancer Society as their theme. (Note–the American Cancer Society theme MUST be used at the National TSA Conference. National TSA will not accept entries related to Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts.) - Multimedia Production
This is a Pre-Conference Event. There is no On-Site component. Entries must be received at the NJ TSA Office by March 5, 2013.
